There are usually multiple factors which determine the best sign letter for your application but usually it comes down to Budget, Inside or Outside application, and the color of finish you want.

For Budget, if you’re looking for the most affordable letters than Plastic letters will be your best option for exterior applications. Plastic letters can also be used inside, along with Foam and Metal Faced letters which are other economical options.

Metal and Lighted Letters are generally the most expensive options but even those can be relatively affordable depending on the finish or material you choose.

Our Plastic Letters and Foam Letters can be made in roughly 3 – 7 Business Days.

Most Metal Letters and Metal Laminate Letters can be made in 8 – 12 Business Days.

And lastly, most Lighted Letters can be made in 12 – 16 Business Days.

Pricing varies widely among the different letter options.

Generally speaking, Plastic Letters are the most affordable letter option for outside applications. For interior applications, Plastic, Metal Faced, and Foam Letters are the most affordable. As mentioned above, Metal and Lighted Letters are generally the most expensive, but materials such as painted metal and Aluminum are still relatively affordable, while Brass and Copper can be some of the most expensive.

Pricing can also be heavily influenced by the size and thickness you want. For most of our materials you can see pricing on the actual product pages, or just submit a quote.

Our Metal Faced Letters and Foam Letters can only be used indoors but are generally very durable and high quality.

Installing our sign letters is easy and simple for most applications.

With every order we supply all the necessary mounting hardware, instructions and a paper mounting template which shows exactly where to drill holes or stick the letters if using double sided tape.
